ASA respond to Draft Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management Strategy
On behalf of our members, ASA has officially responded to the Draft Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk management Strategy highlighting the importance of SuDS. ASA championed SuDS throughout the document but felt it could be stronger in terms of terminology and would welcome further consultation and involvement in setting standards in relation to surface water drainage. ASA will continue to lobby government in relation to SuDS and their incorporation within policy and future developments, whilst highlighting the need to address resourcing, budgets and skill shortages in the area. If you would like any areas highlighted within future consultations please send us your comments on the contact us page of our Website.
